Trainers’ Profile

International expert who has more than 20 years of industrial experience in electrical engineering especially lightning and power surge. In addition to lightning protection, grounding and bonding, he is also an expert in electromagnetic compatibility, occupational safety and atmospheric physics. He has conducted over 100 training programs on lightning and transient protection technologies and several other topics on electrical safety to the engineers in KSA, Sweden, Dubai, South Africa, Uganda, China, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia and Colombia. An author of over 130 research papers and several books on lightning protection including book published with the Energy Commission, Ministry of Science and Technology Malaysia. Given his vast experience and contributions in this industry, he has obtained several reputable international awards and recognitions such as International Annual Lightning Safety Award-2003 by the National Lightning Safety Institution USA, NSF - TWAS Prize for Young Scientists-2004 by Third World Academy of Science, Italy.
