About Mainstream Asia 2014

Traditionally seen as the necessary evil, maintenance is considered as one of the cost generators in an organisation. The impact of not carrying out proper maintenance works includes losses in terms of quality, capacity, energy, production or even market share. In turn, the business would then incur more capital costs and perhaps even, increased investment to sustain.

Mainstream Asia 2014 looks at how maintenance can be the bedrock of your business and why it ought to be leveraged upon, to keep business assets running at the best operational level. Going beyond the ‘know how’ of maintenance, this regional event explores the ties that bind decision makers in maintenance, operations and finance. At the end of the day, maintenance is all about doing it at the right time, in the right way, with the right spare parts and by the right professionals.

Chaired by the honorable Mr. Ben Stevens of DataTrek Systems, our panel of speakers consists of organisations like ESBI, The Ministry of Health Oman and Essar Steel. Our speakers are made up of maintenance professionals from various industries coming from countries like Malaysia, India, Thailand, Singapore, USA, Oman and many more.
